Sarens Supports Phu My Fertilizer Plant During Critical Shutdown

Sarens supported the Phu My Fertilizer Turnaround Campaign 2025–2026 by delivering specialised heavy lifting services during a critical maintenance shutdown at the Phu My Fertilizer Plant in Vietnam, operated by PVFCCo.

The scope of work included heavy lifting operations within a congested and operationally sensitive fertilizer facility, where safety, precision, and coordination were essential. Works were carried out under the tight schedule typical of shutdown campaigns.

To meet the project requirements, Sarens deployed its CC6800 crawler crane, configured with a 78-metre SSL boom and a maximum capacity of 1.250 tonnes. The crane was mobilised by road from a previous project and assembled on site under strict space and safety constraints.

During operations, Sarens executed lifts of equipment weighing up to 106 tonnes, with a total lifted load of 115.6 tonnes at a 23-metre radius, operating in a highly flammable process environment.
