Dubai, United Arab Emirates-based construction company Dar Al Adham Constructions (DAAC) has bought two new MRT111 topless tower cranes from Italian manufacturer Raimondi Cranes.

According to Raimondi, the tower cranes are currently at work on the Riviera residential project by Azizi Developments in Meydan, Dubai. The freestanding MRT111s have an eight tonne maximum lifting capacity and are being used with an under hook height (HUH) of 48.7 metres and 60 metre jibs.

Raimondi Middle East provided full installation of the cranes via two erector crews and an operations manager.

Raimondi Middle East also provided DAAC’s crane operators with three days of training in using an MRT111, focusing on using the machine’s inter-cabin controls and becoming familiar with the Raimondi Deluxe R16 crane cabin.

“We endeavour to continue to support our clients with the best possible customer experience,” said Wael Hasan, Middle East commercial manager at Raimondi. “Sharing in-depth product knowledge and staging hands-on training sessions with our clients’ operators and technical staff members are a core part of our service offering.”

Raimondi said it is also providing a full maintenance package that is renewed monthly. The package includes inspection and servicing of all aspects of the cranes. “We carefully evaluate both main and sub processes including the brakes, limit switches, lubrication, and overall wear, alignment and connection security,” added Hasan.

The cranes are expected to be onsite for around two years.
