The bespoke design offers enhanced weight distribution options and a reinforced deck for greater versatility to meet load requirements in a variety of states.

The fixed four-axle close-couple trailer, designed for Bill Miller Equipment Sales, incorporates an option to add a fifth axle for improved weight distribution to meet load restrictions in various states throughout the Northeast.

Talbert recently exhibited the custom-built 60CC-RC trailer during ConExpo in Las Vegas.

“Trailers are often an afterthought, but Bill Miller Equipment recognises that purchasing a trailer that is custom engineered to meet ever-changing weight and height requirements is an investment that will put them ahead in the long run,” said Troy Geisler, vice president of sales and marketing for Talbert.

“As customers diversify their operations to accommodate changes in the industry and equipment designs, they require more flexibility from their trailers.”

Key features

The custom-built trailer features a ratchet gooseneck design and a 8.5 metre deck length with a 2.9 metre swing radius, and a 61 cm flip-up and removable gooseneck extension for a 350 cm swing radius.

The deck incorporates a 2.7 metres, 15 cm wide raised centre deck with capabilities for an additional 1.2 metre reinforced beam deck and 1.8 metre raised centre deck inserts.

With a 54 tonne capacity and with four axles close-coupled, the 60CC-RC ensures the safe transport of a concentrated load.
