Biggest new Grove cranes at ConExpo

A big new Grove wheeled mobile crane will be the major highlight of this year’s Manitowoc presence at the upcoming ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026 trade show in the USA.

The March 3 to 7 show in Las Vegas will see “Range-topping crane introductions from Grove and National Crane … alongside new aftermarket products and services,” the company said. Visitors will find out about the largest Grove crane yet, with more capacity and more axles than the current range-topping GMK7450 / GMK7550 which has a seven axle carrier. The new crane is on an eight axle carrier and around 700 tonnes capacity – Grove GMK8700, maybe?

In addition to this and a new big National truck mounted hydraulic crane, the focus will be on the aftermarket, including “expanded customer support offerings designed to deliver higher productivity and superior return on invested capital for customers,” the company said.

Big and bold

The new Mobile Training & Technology Center, an onsite classroom, will be on show, as will the Grove GRT780, a popular rough terrain crane in North America. It is an 80 tonner with a 47.3 metre telescopic boom.
