MyCrane grows US sales team

Premium Content

Online crane rental platform MYCRANE has enhanced its team in the USA with the appointment of three experienced sales professionals. The new recruits are Jason Travis, vice president USA division Southwest, Robert Baty, vice president USA division Southeast and Andres Cuevas, national account executive.

MYCRANE has bolstered its team in the USA with the appointment of three sales professionals.

The appointments follow the recent news that MYCRANE has secured a substantial investment, following a Series A round to fund the next phase of its global expansion.

“Our growth plans include a particular focus on the key markets of the USA, South Asia and Saudi Arabia – and MYCRANE will be active in all of those territories, with its own operations, in a matter of weeks,” said Andrei Geikalo, founder and CEO, MYCRANE. “It was therefore logical to boost our operations in the USA, where we see activity driven by investment in sectors such as the construction, renovation and expansion of manufacturing plants, as well as renewable energy and carbon capture and storage.

With over 25 years’ experience in commercial heavy equipment rentals and sales, Jason Travis is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the platform’s day-to-day operations in Southwest USA. His counterpart for Southeast USA is Robert Baty, a seasoned lifting professional who has held positions spanning crane operator to vice president during his decades of service. Baty is a certified lift planner.

Prior to joining MYCRANE, Andres Cuevas held a sales position at an equipment rental company, where he was responsible for managing national and local accounts. At MYCRANE, he serves as a connection between clients and crane suppliers, helping customers use the MYCRANE platform to hire the lifting equipment they need.

In addition to the new appointments, a new MYCRANE facility will open in Pearland, TX in the coming weeks.
