Sims Crane celebrates new Florida facility with grand opening

Sims Crane, a provider of crane rental and rigging services in the Southeast United States, has expanded its footprint in Florida with the opening of a new location in Pinellas County. The expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to serving construction and industrial clients across the state, particularly in the west-central Florida region, the company said.

The new facility, located at 6675 114th Ave. in Largo, Florida, USA, was unveiled during a grand opening event on February 20. Industry professionals gathered for an open house, networking opportunities and raffle giveaways while getting a firsthand look at the company’s latest expansion.

“This new location in Pinellas County enhances our ability to serve clients throughout west-central Florida,” said Deborah Weber, CEO, Sims Crane. “This is an exciting time for Sims, and we remain committed to upholding the values and innovative practices that have defined Sims Crane for more than 60 years.”

The Pinellas County expansion aligns with Sims Crane’s broader growth strategy. In addition to its extensive network of Florida locations, the company recently expanded outside the state, opening a new office in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. As of 2025, Sims Crane maintains locations in Atlanta, Broward, Ft. Myers, Jacksonville, Lake City, Miami, Mulberry, Ocala, Orlando, Panama City, Pinellas, Space Coast, Tallahassee, Tampa, Vero Beach and West Palm Beach.
