24 April 2008

UK: The country's largest crane rental company, Ainscough Crane Hire, has further consolidated its position with the opening of a new depot, its 24th, in Cambridge in the east of England. The company, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, has more than 480 mobile telescopic cranes and mobile folding tower cranes. Cranes up to 110 tons capacity are available from the new depot while units up to 1,100 tons can be called in from the National Heavy Crane Division.

Commenting on the expansion, Martin Ainscough, chairman and managing director, said, “This is the first depot we have opened from a greenfield site in many years and we are looking at other possible gaps in our depot network for further future expansion.”
