Åkerströms appoints new CEO

Hanna Landell is set to assume the role of CEO and Head of Sales at remote control specialist Åkerströms.

Landall will take up the role on 23 March, ahead of Hans Åkerblom stepping down from the position at the end of the month to pursue new opportunities.

Landell has extensive experience leading Nordic and international industrial and manufacturing businesses, with a track record of steering organisations through growth and development phases, said the company.

Landell commented, “I am pleased and honoured to be entrusted with leading Åkerströms. It will be exciting to join an industry that is new to me, even though customers, markets and the business are largely the same. I see great potential to further develop our offering, strengthen customer value and set a clear direction going forward together with the organisation and the group.”

During her first months, Landell will focus on getting to know the business, employees and customers, and, together with the management team and the organisation, set the direction for Åkerströms’ continued development within the Allgon Group.
