ALL Erection expands in Florida and West Virginia
25 April 2011
The ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. family of companies in the USA has expanded its facilities with two branch branch relocations: one in St. Albans to Nitro, WV, and one in Tampa, FL.
In early April, ALL Crane & Equipment Rental Corp., moved to a larger facility in Nitro, WV. The company held a grand opening celebration where guests were entertained with American-style lunch, factory tour and open forums with representatives from a number of equipment manufacturers.
With 38,000 square feet under one roof, the new location will allow the company to organize its space to service customers more efficiently, the company said. Increased shop space will allow the staff to complete more work in a shorter amount of time, and with better oversight and supervision by shop foremen.
The new building also has training facilities to keep technicians up-to-date with current manufacturer maintenance techniques and training required by new standards. A conference room will also be available for meetings with customers and staff.
Chad Shamblin, general manager, said, "This new facility gives us the opportunity to be on top of our game and allows us to better manage our business. We are now able to have all our key people in the same building, allowing us to communicate more efficiently and increase our productivity."
All Erection was also on the move in Florida, moving to a larger, full-service facility with more service bays and nearly triple the previous acreage for All Crane Rental of Florida in Tampa. The 10-acre property, formerly occupied by another heavy equipment company, offers five state-of-the-art buildings, including a 5,800-square foot office, a 1,600-square foot safety and training building, two shops with a total of eight service bays, paint booths and a large equipment yard.
Mitch McDonald, general manager of ALL Crane Rental of Florida, said that the new facility provides a ready setup with shop and office space and better access to interstates and local main thoroughfares. He explained, "We are looking forward to better serving our existing customers and having room for more equipment that will support new customers in the Gulf region. And we now have the space we needed to store and maintain our newest acquisition-a 550 ton GMK 7550 all terrain crane."
