Bigfoot Crane erects North America’s first Liebherr 195 HC-LH 6/12 in Vancouver

Bigfoot Crane Company, a full-service tower crane provider headquartered in British Columbia, Canada, erected the first Liebherr 195 HC-LH 6/12 hydraulic luffing jib crane in North America, deploying it on the Telus Living Point Grey residential development in Vancouver.

The 195 HC-LH 6/12 has a maximum lifting capacity of 12,000 kg, a maximum radius of 55 metres, and a lifting capacity of 2,550 kg at maximum radius. The jib can be configured up to 55 metres and extended in 5-metre increments. The crane’s compact out-of-service position and hydraulic luffing geometry are designed for dense urban sites where oversailing and space constraints limit conventional tower crane use.
The crane is equipped with Liebherr’s Micromove fine positioning system, level luffing, and a Load-Plus function that can increase lifting capacity by up to 25% for individual lifts.
Bigfoot previously introduced the Liebherr 125 EC-B 6 to North America. The company’s fleet is ranked among the top 20 largest in North America.
