BOSS Crane & Rigging announces new roles for Thames, Hamilton

Bennett On-Site Services, widely known as BOSS Crane & Rigging, has made key additions to its management team in the USA “as the company continues to expand its operations and strengthen its position in the industry,” according to a news release. The new management marks an exciting chapter for BOSS, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to safety, service excellence and continued growth, the company said.

Joel Thames, newly appointed regional manager will primarily focus on the Texas markets.

Based out of the BOSS Crane & Rigging Dayton, TX office, Thames will drive the expansion of crane rental and heavy-lift services across the state of Texas, cementing BOSS’s reputation as the trusted partner for Texas’s most demanding industrial projects, the company said. He specializes “in high stakes lifting for the oil and gas, chemical, industrial and commercial sectors, delivering precision, reliability and uptime when it matters most.”

Thames has 32 years of experience in the crane and rigging industry.

Kevin Hamilton has been named regional manager for BOSS Crane & Rigging. He will focus on the Southeastern region of the USA. 

Based in Florida, Hamilton brings 30-plus years of expertise in the crane and rigging industry. In this strategic role, Hamilton will drive growth in the region’s crane rental and heavy-lift services, building on BOSS’ reputation as a go-to partner for complex industrial projects, according to the company. With a proven track record in crane operations and customer-focused project execution, the company said Hamilton brings deep expertise in the crane rental sector. His leadership will center on expanding BOSS’s factory-to-foundation turnkey solutions: a seamless, end-to-end service that manages heavy loads from manufacturing origin to final on-site installation, the company said.

BOSS operates a modern fleet of cranes ranging from 8 to 900 tons, backed by certified rigging teams and heavy-haul logistics, according to the news release. The new management additions come at a pivotal time as the company invests to meet rising demands in energy, technology and infrastructure. BOSS recently expanded its fleet with the addition of two Grove TMS 9000e cranes.
