Crane Service Inc. jacked, slid and hoisted a 130,000 lb transformer.

Crane Service, Inc. jacked a 130,000-pound transformer and used the Hydra-Slide HT500 to slide it on to a heavy haul tractor. The transformer was later offloaded on-site by their Link-Belt ATC3275, a 275-ton all terrain crane. The project required their Advanced Movement Division to jack the transformer to the height of the drop deck trailer and then to move the transformer safely on to the trailer. Once the transformer was on the trailer their heavy haul driver had to maneuver the tractor and trailer out of the substation to where the transformer was ultimately offloaded.
