DICA expansion increases production and inventory

DICA is expanding its Urbandale, Iowa, headquarters with a 50,000-square-foot buildout

Urbandale, Iowa, USA-based DICA is expanding its headquarters to accommodate rising demand and future growth. The company is building out an additional 50,000 square feet of its 60,000-square-foot facility to increase manufacturing capacity, streamline operations and provide space for staff expansion.

“When we moved into our new headquarters three years ago, it was with the intention of growing into it over time,” said Kris Koberg, CEO, DICA. “Due to demand and product expansion, the need for additional space was accelerated to help ensure we can continue meeting ground support and stabilization needs for years to come.”

Alongside facility upgrades, DICA is also strengthening its team. The company recently hired Harrison Hipple as Account Manager, Crane & Rigging. Hipple brings more than 15 years of experience from The Manitowoc Company, where he worked in crane sales and product management. His expertise is expected to help DICA provide tailored solutions and enhanced support for crane rental customers.
