Joe Dimel has been named national business developer for Southern Industrial Constructors and Southern Crane, full-service industrial contractors in the US.

Dimel will manage existing customer relationships and identify new national business opportunities, particularly those within the energy, automotive, paper and pharmaceutical industries.

Before joining Southern Industrial, Dimel worked in a similar capacity for Atlas Industrial Contractors in Ohio.

"With more than 15 years of professional experience providing industrial services, including rigging, piping and electrical, Joe knows a great deal about how Southern Industrial can help our clients grow and succeed," said Rocky Springer, vice president. "We are glad he's joined our team."

Dimel earned his bachelor's of science degree in business from Ohio Dominican University and is a member of the Rotary Club.
