ESTA president Christian-Jacques Vernazza, left, congratulates Soren Jansen from BMS in Denmark, at an ESTA awards evening

Every year ESTA organises a special evening dinner party for all crane and transport company members of each individual European country member association. The dinner is also open to the associated members (manufacturers) and guests related to the heavy haulage, abnormal transport and mobile crane industry and rental companies. The 2007 ESTA dinner party, the ultimate networking event”, is on Thursday 26 April at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel in Munich, Germany during Bauma 2007 (23 to 29 April). Following last year&339;s success during Intermat in Paris, France, around 600 guests are expected.

During the dinner party the ESTA Jury will present the ESTA 2007 Awards of Excellence to winners of the Crane Job of the Year and Transport Job of the Year categories. Each individual member company is invited to submit their entry of a special, complicated, innovative or otherwise interesting job. This year rules and regulations have been adapted in favour of smaller companies with, perhaps, less prestigious but clever and professional achievements. The ESTA Awards promote our industry and the company concerned.

• Registration forms for the dinner and/or to enter the awards contest can be obtained from Mrs.
