Emsley Crane adds to fleet with new Liebherr mobile crane

Emsley Crane Hire has expanded its fleet with the addition of a new Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 60-tonne mobile crane.

The new model is the UK company’s sixth 60-tonne model and fourteenth three-axle unit.

This latest three-axle crane has a 48 metre main boom which includes the Telematik single-cylinder telescoping system to deliver a full working range.

The boom can be extended with a 9.5- to 16-metre double swingaway fly jib, increasing the lifting height to 63 metres and lifting radius to 48 metres.

The 60 tonner can travel on UK roads under STGO regulations. With all 12.8 tonnes of counterweight, the crane supports economical transport and rapid assembly times.

Pride of ownership

Technical director Tom Emsley said, “We’re very proud to add our sixth LTM 1060-3.1 to the fleet. Its exceptional lifting capability and compact design have made it a standout performer for us time and again. Liebherr has been a trusted partner throughout the last 35 years, and we’re excited to continue expanding that relationship in 2026.”

Following on from that last comment, Emsley is planning to invest in additional Liebherr products over 2026, further expanding the company’s rental fleet.

With locations in Harrogate and Doncaster, Emsley Crane operates a fleet of all terrain models ranging in capacity from 35 to 225 tonnes.
