Potain self erecting tower cranes will be distributed in the UK by Falcon Tower Crane Services. Falcon will handle all sales and service activities.

In a deal signed at the Bauma show in late October, Falcon will take six Potain self erecting cranes in its first order as dealer. The order comprises two Igo 50 models, a Hup 40-30, and three Igo T 85 A models.

Growing the largest

With a fleet of 450 units Falcon is claimed as the largest owner of tower cranes in the UK and is now further developing its sales operations.

Andrew Brown, Falcon managing director, said, “We’re receiving more and more enquiries from our UK customers for sales in addition to our ongoing rental agreements.

“We’re delighted to take on this new role as the UK dealer for Potain self erecting cranes and we see a lot of potential for the product in the UK, with strong scope for growth as we expand our rental fleet and market the cranes for sale.”
