Fleet Cost & Care is celebrating their 30th anniversary in business as a fleet management software provider and technology partner for the crane, rigging and heavy equipment rental industries.

Fleet Cost & Care was founded in 1993 by Jeff Curran, who saw the need and had the drive to bring fleet management into the digital age.

Founded in 1993 by Jeff Curran, who saw the need and had the drive to bring fleet management into the digital age. In the early nineties computer technology was becoming mainstream, Jeff was working for his family’s Detroit-based crane company – JJ Curran Crane, he wanted his company and the industry, to harness technology to modernize and grow. He assembled a small team and began building some initial software modules. What started as an idea to reduce paper and increase efficiency has flourished into a leading fleet management software provider for the crane & rigging industry. Today, Fleet Cost & Care is proud to provide its software services to 42 companies in this year’s ACT 100 and to rental operations as far away as Greenland, Australia and New Zealand.

“The growth of the company from just myself and two other people to our international team of over 50 dedicated employees has been very rewarding” said Jeff Curran, president, Fleet Cost & Care. “The evolution of our software and its capabilities has been thrilling to experience. From the inception of our NexGen desktop app, the launch of our Atom mobile app, to the growth of our partner ecosystem and the things that are coming soon, we are just getting started! We would not be where we are today without our skilled team and our loyal customers.”
