Frederick named to corporate planning, strategy role at Link-Belt Cranes

Josh Frederick assumes the role of director fo corporate planning and strategy.
Josh Frederick has been named director of Corporate Planning and Strategy at Link-Belt Cranes, effective May 19, 2025.

Frederick began his career in 1997 as a mechanical engineer at Chrysler before moving to Cummins in 1999 to work on mechanical and electronic configurations for engine fuel economy. In 2009, he moved to Valvoline, where he improved technical service of commercial vehicle fleets and later formulated heavy-duty and light-duty engine oils while chairing related committees for the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
His most recent experience included acquisition and development of a preventive maintenance business model for heavy-duty commercial vehicles for the North American market. He holds mechanical engineering undergraduate and graduate degrees from Purdue University and the University of Michigan, respectively, and an MBA from the University of Louisville.
