Hammer hired on at MCG

Roland Hammer has joined Manitowoc Crane Group (MCG) as director of strategic accounts. Hammer will handle accounts in the Americas across the complete range of Manitowoc Crane Group products. Hammer reports to David Birkhauser, senior vice president of sales for the Americas, and operates through the MCG – Shady Grove facility in Pennsylvania. “Roland is well-known throughout the industry in North America, and we're delighted to welcome him to our team,” Birkhauser said. “Roland has over 30 years experience in the business and has held senior management positions with a variety of major crane companies in disciplines ranging from sales and marketing through to design. He is a real asset to our company.”
