Premium Content

Greg Etue sold cranes for Tadano Mantis and Stafford Cranes. He also worked for WHECO Corp., Sany America and Putzmeister.

Gregory “Greg” John Etue passed away suddenly on August 25, 2021. He was born on July 10, 1958 and grew up in Michigan. The son of George and Joanne Etue, he was married to his beloved Deborah and the couple just celebrated their 21st anniversary. He was the proud dad to Mocha.

For the past six years, he was regional business manager for Tadano Mantis Cranes. Prior to that he was National Sales Manager of WHECO Corp. He also worked for Stafford Cranes, Sany America and Putzmeister.

Greg Etue

Professionally, Greg was a salesman for most of his life. As a good friend and colleague said, “Greg is probably already selling in the sky. Greg was good at what he did because he was honest, hardworking and dependable. Greg excelled when challenged by a problem and took good care of his clients. He took pride in knowing the intricacies of whatever he was selling.”

Greg loved to travel and play golf in his spare time and was very skilled at doing woodworking projects. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Tyrone.

One of Greg’s best qualities was his out going personality. Greg never met a stranger. He always loved meeting new people and had a heart for helping those in need. A private graveside service with family and close friends was held on September 3, 2021 at the College Park Cemetery. The family asks that donations be made to Southwest Christian Care, www.swchristiancare.org or St. Nick’s Closet, www.stnickscloset.com.
