ITC tower crane conference: call for papers

Submissions and proposals for papers are invited for the ninth International Tower Crane (ITC) conference being held in Rome, Italy, on 3 and 4 June 2025.

The event, which again has the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) as main event partner, will comprise an organised site visit on 3 June – details to be confirmed – with an evening reception followed by the full day conference on 4 June.

Among the topics to be covered will be:

  • Keynote address
  • Round-table on electrification and energy efficiency
  • Site reports involving tower cranes
  • Focus on large luffing boom tower cranes
  • Trends in tower crane design.
