Spanish tower crane manufacturer Jaso has appointed French crane safety systems specialist AMCS Technologies as a supply partner for its anti-collision systems.

When a collision avoidance system is requested by a Jaso customer the tower cranes will be equipped with the DCS 61-S (Driving Control System Safety).

The systems help improve construction site safety by managing interferences between static and dynamic obstacles. The DCS 61-S, compliant with European standards EN17076 and EN14439, is a universal system. It can be used on all sites and is adaptable to all types of cranes.

Commenting on the agreement Mohamed Chettibi, AMCS Technologies CEO, said, “We are really excited about this new partnership. It represents a real powerful combination and an important step in providing sites with the right solution. Combining Jaso high quality tower cranes and AMCS Technologies’ highly reliable solutions will leverage strengths of our both companies to meet high expectations of our customers. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this great partnership.”

In addition to managing tower cranes on site, the system now also integrates the management of collision avoidance between tower cranes and mobile cranes, either with telescopic or fixed booms, plus gantry cranes, concrete pumps and other machines, AMCS said.

AMCS said it is a high-performance system that provides maximum safety and a next-gen service, including technical support and user training, provided by its highly skilled and reactive team of engineers and technicians.
