Kirby-Smith promotes Shuffield to VP

Kelly Shuffield

Kirby-Smith Machinery (KSM) has promoted Kelly Shuffield to vice president, product support, cranes & lifting. Shuffield will be responsible for the strategic oversight of all crane support operations throughout KSM’s territory, the company said. The heavy equipment distributor is an authorized crane dealer for Manitowoc, Grove, National Crane and Broderson, with lines varying by location, and offers sales, rentals, parts and service.

Shuffield brings over 30 years equipment product support experience. He started his career at KSM in 2005 as a crane product service manager before a series of promotions which included leading KSM’s Crane Rapid Response Team, general service manager, crane division and now his current role as vice president.

“I’m excited about the future and look forward to the challenges of this new opportunity,” said Shuffield. “We understand how crucial uptime is to the crane industry and will continue to provide our customers with industry leading product support that helps them meet their goals. I am grateful for the highly trained personnel I get to work with each day and feel so proud to be part of the Kirby-Smith team.”

Rickey Bailey, vice president, crane division for KSM remarked that Shuffield has been instrumental in the success of KSM’s support operations for nearly two decades.
