Landstar honors safe drivers and recognizes top performers

The Landstar Class of 2024 Roadstar and 1, 2 and 3 Million Mile Safe Driver inductees in attendance at the 2025 BCO All-Star Celebration.

Landstar recently celebrated the achievements of its newest class of Million Mile Safe Drivers and Roadstar honorees, recognizing exceptional safety and service among its independent owner-operators.

On July 2, 2025, the company inducted the Class of 2024, which includes 98 new One Million Mile Safe Drivers, 17 new Two Million Mile Safe Drivers and two new Three Million Mile Safe Drivers.

Twelve individuals earned the Roadstar distinction, awarded to drivers who demonstrate outstanding safety records, productivity and customer service.

Owner-operator Dale Reuman received the Landstar BCO Lifetime Achievement Award. Reuman is already a Three Million Mile Safe Driver and Roadstar recipient.

For the first time, Landstar presented the Jeffrey C. Crowe-Robert E. Zonneville Lifetime Achievement Award to an employee. Earl Yarbrough, a field safety manager with a 48-year tenure at the company, received the honor. Yarbrough is also a Million Mile Safe Driver and Roadstar recipient.

Additionally, new Million Mile Safe Driver George Eason won a 2026 Freightliner Cascadia truck as part of Landstar’s 51st truck giveaway, marking the 14th time the prize has been awarded to a Million Mile Safe Driver or Roadstar.
