31 August 2012
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Crane Service, Inc. in the USA has ordered seven Link-Belt cranes all slated for delivery in 2012, the company said. Two of the models on order are the new 275 US ton (250 tonne) capacity Link-Belt ATC 3275, one of which the company took delivery of in late August.
"The new ATC 3275s will provide much needed support for our customer's industrial and commercial projects," the company said. "The much awaited first ATC 3275 we received will have one week of PDI along with crane operator and crane technician training and then it's immediately off to work. The crane is already scheduled for coal mine work, coal fired power plant work and commercial construction work."
Other cranes purchased include four RTs ranging from 30 to 65 ton capacity as well as a 100 ton HTC 86100 hydraulic truck crane.
All of the rough terrain cranes are headed straight from factory to rental projects and the hydraulic truck crane is headed to the Crane Service branch in El Paso, Texas, the company said.
"Crane Service Inc. is committed to providing our customers with newest best equipment available in the industry along with providing the safest quality service that exceeds customers' expectations today and in the future," said Scott Wilson, president, Crane Service, Inc.
