Joost Goderie has been appointed chief executive officer at Mammoet, the world’s largest owner of cranes and specialized transport equipment.

Goderie takes over from Paul van Gelder who was CEO from 2017 to the beginning of 2024. Van Gelder is now a senior business advisor to the Mammoet Board.

Commenting on his new position Goderie said, “I want to thank my predecessor Paul van Gelder for the sound foundation he has left for us to build upon. Together with more than 5,000 colleagues worldwide, we will continue to build the company to realize its full potential: becoming smarter, safer and stronger – while providing the best solutions for our clients.”

Goderie has held positions at various organisations, including Eurofiber, McKinsey and Shell.
