Manitex appointments

Manitex International in the US has three new appointments to strengthen customer service and manufacturing.

Scott Rolston is appointed senior vice president sales and marketing. Rolston covers all territories, domestic and international, for Manitex crane products. His remit is to ensure that Manitex sales and marketing delivers growth in North America, strengthening strategic alliances, enhancing in-house distribution and expanding international focus. Rolston has been at Manitex for 16 years and has experience in engineering, sales and marketing and product development.

Phil Fridley is appointed Manitex International president responsible for "continuing the drive towards business excellence at the Georgetown, Texas, facility. Fridley is responsible for the financial performance of Manitex International, its manufacturing operations, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, sales ordering and administration. Fridley was previously director of operations. His background includes manufacturing, quality, supply chain and business excellence in a range of industries, including five years at Grove Worldwide.

Paul Zaremba, general manager of Crane & Machinery, which Manitex acquired in October 2008, is appointed vice president of customer service and support. Zaremba has been at Crane & Machinery for a year. Before that he was general manager of Randall Industries. He has experience in the rental equipment market from an operational and financial perspective.
