The CC 78.1250-1 is the newest model in Tadano’s crawler crane lineup and succeeds the CC 68.1250-1. Built for heavy lifting applications, it offers improved capacity, transportability and operational performance.

With a lifting capacity of 1,250 tonnes (1,375 U.S. tons), the crane is intended for demanding projects in wind energy, infrastructure, and industrial construction. When fitted with a 15-meter (49-foot) fixed jib, it can achieve a hook height of up to 224.5 meters (736 feet) and lift as much as 140 tonnes (154 US tons) in this configuration.

The base structure of the crane spans 3.5 meters (11.5 feet), and two crawler shoe widths are available, 2.0 meters (6.6 feet) and 2.4 meters (7.9 feet), to support different site conditions.

“At Maxim Crane Works, we are committed to providing our customers with cutting-edge lifting solutions,” said Paul McDonnell, CEO, Maxim Crane Works. “The specifications of the CC 78.1250-1, including its exceptional lifting capacity and transport efficiency, made it an easy choice for our fleet. We can’t wait to have this crane available to work on critical projects.”

Tadano officials say the crane was developed with a focus on reliability and safety in complex environments.

“Tadano lattice boom crawler cranes are designed with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and safety,” said Dean Barley, president & CEO of Tadano America Corporation, Manitex International and Tadano Mantis Corporation. “With our industry-leading innovations—such as the IC-1 Remote telematics system, optimized transport solutions, and multiple safety redundancies—the CC 78.1250-1 is built to perform in the most demanding lifting environments. We are proud that Maxim Crane Works, a valued partner, is the first to add this model to its fleet.”
