New staff appointments at LMS

Aberdeen, Scotland-based lifting equipment specialist Load Monitoring Systems (LMS) has announced two new appointments. Kenny Wright has been named as production manager and Chris Davidson has been appointed as the newly created role of business development manager.
Wright will be responsible for all LMS production and operational aspects. He has 25 years’ lifting industry experience in the oil and gas sector and brings a wealth of knowledge which will be invaluable supporting LMS’s growth plans.
Davidson joined LMS in 2016 as operations manager and has 15 years’ lifting industry experience in the oil and gas sector. His remit will focus on increasing sales and generating further growth both in the UK and globally.
LMS’ managing director Kirk Anderson said, “With these two key staff appointments, we are aligning the business with our strategic growth plans for 2022 and beyond. We are delighted to welcome Kenny to LMS and to see Chris step into the new role.
“With many years’ lifting industry experience and knowledge, as well as key leadership and management skills, Kenny will support the development of our production and operations capabilities as our business continues on an upward trajectory.”
LMS’ sales director Millar Kennedy said, “The new business development position forms part of LMS’s mission to strengthen our sales team and focus on diversifying into other key industry sectors such as renewables, aquaculture, entertainment and subsea.”
Anderson added, “Both Kenny and Chris will play a vital part in the continued growth of LMS.
“Their appointments will provide essential direction and support as we focus on our goal to be the number one supplier of intelligent lifting products to global industries.”
The company designs, manufactures and rents load monitoring products for different industry sectors where continual load monitoring, measurement, calibration and testing is required.
