Nöske joins Sany to head crane development

Chinese crane and construction equipment manufacturer Sany has strengthened its European crane product development programme with the appointment of Ingo Nöske.

Long-time crane industry expert Nöske takes over management of the Crane Development Europe division based at Sany Europe in Germany. It is part of the manufacturer’s push to increase sales in Europe by “aligning its development with the requirements of European operators.”

Nöske has extensive experience, primarily in product development and crawler cranes in particular, with manufacturers Demag, Terex, Sennebogen, Manitowoc and Tadano. At Sany, he leads a specialized engineering team focused on new and further development of cranes for the European market.

Certain needs

Areas where European operators have specific requirements include transportability, safety, operability, digital integration, regulatory approval, and life-cycle cost. New crane models will be adapted to meet those demands more quickly and comprehensively, Sany said.

Commenting on the move Ingo Nöske said, “European crane operators have high expectations and that’s exactly what we’re focusing on. Our aim is to develop solutions that perfectly match our customers’ needs in terms of performance, quality, and practicality. I look forward to working with my team to further advance Sany’s European focus.”

Nöske will work closely with Christian Straßer, Sany Europe head of sales for cranes in the DACH region, and Nina Ortmann, deputy head of crane sales in DACH.
