Penny Hydraulics launches new models

17 April 2008

A pair of vehicle mounted loader cranes were launched by Penny Hydraulics at the UK's Commercial Vehicle Show this month. The 500 kg and 1000 kg Swing Lift cranes both have hydraulic slewing and the larger unit has an electric winch, especially useful if a load needs to be lowered below ground, for example, in civil engineering applications. Boom height and extension is selected manually. To maximize load area the new subframe is designed to be more compact than on the previous model.

Penny Hydraulics' range of vehicle mounted cranes and platform lifts are designed to help operators comply with manual handling regulations and reduce the risk of injury and damage to vehicles and loads. The company designs and manufactures load lifting and handling equipment that includes the Swing Lift range of medium duty cranes for pickups, dropsides and flatbed trucks, and the Step Lift, Load Lift and Tail Lift lifting platforms for pickups dropsides and vans. Also manufactured is equipment for lifting and handling wheels, tyres and barrels.
