Dave Beggs is the new sales manager for DG Equipment in Brookville, Ohio. In his new position, Beggs will be responsible for “developing new business opportunities, exploring strategic partnerships with international firms and servicing current clients.” Beggs’ background is in national account sales, manufacturing and service. For more than 30 years, DG Equipment has specialized in the transportation, rigging and installation of overweight and oversized machinery and equipment.

Baucon Asia, the construction exhibition that was scheduled to take place in Singapore, September 20 to 22 this year, has been rescheduled for 2007. The event organizers, Internationaler Messe und Ausstellungsdienst, said, “The building and construction markets in the region have not picked up speed and this has been one of the major reasons for the show not reaching a preferred size.” The statement went on to say, “Critical mass is required in terms of both international exhibitor and visitor participation, for there to be a convincingly satisfactory exhibition presentation, we as organizers, as well as our industry partners, have considered that it would be more viable, for all concerned, to postpone Baucon Asia 2005, to a later date.”
