Raimondi Cranes introduces T87 flat top tower crane

Raimondi has introduced its new T87 flat top tower crane, the latest addition to the company’s T Series range.

As successor to the MRT84, the T87 carries over modular and mechanical features already seen on other T Series models, while adding a series of new engineering advances to improve performance and versatility.

For example, the new model’s lightweight design makes the T87 suited for small- to medium-sized worksites where space comes at a premium.

With the heaviest component weighing in at less than three tonnes and a compact 8 metre counterjib, the T87 offers optimised weight and dimensions.

This allows the full 51 metre counterjib, including all counterweights, to be transported using two articulated trucks. The design also helps to make assembly more efficient.

The crane offers the choice of 5 tonnes capacity with two or four falls of rope or 3 tonnes with permanent two falls, allowing for fleet and rental companies to support the needs of different projects.

The Raimondi T87-5t has a tip load of 1.38 tonnes in UltraLift with the 51 metre jib and can lift at 78.70 metres/min using the 22 kW hoist.

“The first units of the T87 have already been delivered to several key accounts across France and Italy, with installations now active in regions like Lombardia, Marche and Campania. Early feedback confirms the crane’s agility and adaptability across diverse site conditions,” said Mauro Masetti, sales director, Raimondi Cranes.

In one case, a T87 has been installed in an historic area of Ascoli Piceno, Italy. Configured with a 51 metre jib and installed at a 45 metre hook height, the crane adapted well to the local space constraints.
