Rig All chooses Terex AC 350/6 for Utica clock tower

Contractor Rig All Inc. used its Terex AC 350/6 on a project in downtown Utica, NY, USA, to erect a lattice base structure for a 150 foot (46 metre) clock tower. The clock tower was designed to reflect the history of the site that once housed the old Utica City Hall that featured a clock tower, which was a focal point for the town. The City Hall building was demolished in 1968.

The new clock tower will stand near the Utica Bank very close to the location of the old one. It is projected to be complete by the end of 2016.

The Terex AC 350/6 was the crane of choice for this project due to its compact size. It was purchased by Rig All from Empire Crane in 2015. The compact, 54.8 foot (16.7 m) long, six axle crane made the city street jobsite easy to navigate for the clock tower base erection, the company said.
