SC&RA offers a smart phone app for crane hand signals complying with the new OSHA code

Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) has launched a free mobile app to access crane hand signals.

Signals are shown graphically and all are available in English and Spanish. They comply with the new OSHA Cranes and Derricks Standard, Appendix A to Subpart CC of Part 1926-Standard Hand Signals, SC&RA said.

SC&RA pointed out that the app is intended for use before entering the workplace because the use of smart phones on job sites is not encouraged. The new app is available in the iTunes App Store and Blackberry App World.
