SCG Logistics adds to trailer fleet
15 July 2026
SCG Logistics, a partner company of SC Steelframes, teamed up to support logistics operations for the modular housing manufacturer.
In support of this, SCG added five Max110 semi trailers and five Max510 low-bed trailers to its fleet from manufacturer Faymonville. These will be used to move the housing modules produced by SC Steelframes to their final destinations.

A Combilift straddle carrier is used to move the sections of modular houses into place for loading on the trailers. Even smaller units can measure as much as 10 metres long and 4.65 metres wide, wihle many come already fitted with some furnishings.
Adjustable length
The Max510 low-bed trailers can be telescoped to fit the length of the modules. In addition, the 17.5 inch (445 mm) pendular axles provide the manoeuvrability to manage roads and construction sites.
Many of the moves are carried out a night to avoid heavy traffic in daytime.
Production at SC Steelframes is continuing to increase as customers realise the benefits of modular housing. With the house units ready to install on-site, quality is ensured from the factory, while construction times are reduced.
The company delivers houses to countries within the Benelux region and Germany.
