Manitowoc has added Latin America to Ingo Schilller's responsibilities as vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas.

In his new capacity, Schiller will manage Manitowoc's sales and marketing efforts for its crane brands throughout Latin America.

Dave Birkhauser, senior vice president of sales, Americas, said that Schiller's vast industry experience will benefit the company in the expanding Latin American market.

"Despite market conditions around the world, Latin America still represents a significant growth opportunity for Manitowoc," he said.

"By combining sales and marketing management of this region under Schiller, we hope to continue capitalizing on those opportunities."

Schiller joined Manitowoc in January 2008.
