Senior appointments at Link-Belt

USA-based crane manufacturer Link-Belt has made a number of senior appointments and promotions, including naming Sam Meroney as district manager of the northeastern United States and eastern Canada for Link-Belt Construction Equipment. Meroney brings to the role 17 years of experience working in the crane industry in sales, marketing and training.

Meanwhile, Glenn Hatton has been hired as parts shipping supervisor. Hatton comes to Link-Belt with 12 years of experience in the warehousing and shipping industry. He most recently worked with Infiltrator Systems in Winchester, Kentucky. In his new role he will be responsible for the supervisory activities of the service part shipments.

Bill Curry has been promoted to global supply chain specialist in the logistics organization. Curry will be responsible for export requirements, importation of key production components, as well as day-to-day compliance of export and import transactions. His background includes 15 years of freight forwarding and international shipping experience.

Diann Karrick has been promoted to import machine scheduler. Karrick started her career with Link-Belt in 2006. She has worked in many areas of the logistics organisation. In her new role she will be responsible for the import and transportation requirements of all whole good shipments.
