Spanish rental firm receives Grove cranes at SMOPyC 2026

Southern Spain crane rental firm Grúas Alhambra received new Grove GMK5120L all terrain cranes at the SMOPyC 2026 trade show in Zaragoza, adding to a fleet that already includes Grove GMK5250L and GMK6400 units acquired since the company’s partnership with the manufacturer began in 2018.

The two 120 tonne cranes will work primarily in construction. Grúas Alhambra also operates cranes in wind turbine maintenance across the Andalusia region.

Abraham Molina, CEO at Grúas Alhambra, said, “Just as important is Grove’s improved aftersales service, which played a key role in our decision to add these units to our fleet.”

The new units have Grove Connect telematics for remote monitoring and diagnostics. Operators are completing a tailored Manitowoc training programme alongside the delivery.
