Superior Rigging names new COO

Superior Rigging & Erecting has named Zach Olsen as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). With over 18 years of experience in construction management and a commendable history of successful projects, Olsen brings a unique blend of leadership and experience to his new role, the company said.

Olsen is a 2008 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Olsen’s career highlights include serving as the special projects division manager at Turner Construction Company and senior project manager for the State Farm Arena renovation in Atlanta. He engaged with Atlanta Hawks leadership from preconstruction through closeout.

Olsen’s career history also includes significant roles such as project manager for the Clemson University Littlejohn Coliseum renovation, project engineer for the University of Georgia Veterinary Medicine Learning Center and business development engineer, and cost engineer.
