Two Wolff cranes deployed to hotel site in Saudi Arabia

Wolffkran in Saudi Arabia is continuing its support for major developments across the country. One of these is the Al Madinah Hotel project, a new hospitality development located in Al Madinah.

Developed for Ansab General Contracting, which has its headquarters in Al Khobar, the project is designed to accommodate a growing number of visitors and pilgrims traveling to Al Masjid Al Nabawi (The Prophet’s Mosque).

In addition to Al Masjid Al Nabawi there are a series of sacred sites near the Al Madinah hotel, including Jannat al-Baqi, an ancient Islamic cemetery and Masjid Quba, the first Islamic mosque.

To help meet targeted deadlines for the new hotel, Wolffkran has deployed two tower cranes to the construction site, a Wolff 6031 Clear and Wolff 7532 Cross.

Installed on Wolff foundation anchors, the cranes are said to offer the precision, lifting capacity and reliability required for large-scale developments.

The Wolff 6031 Clear has an operating hook height of 86.6 metres and jib radius of 60 metres, while the Wolff 7532 Cross has a hook height of 73.1 metres and jib radius of 75 metres.
