Who are the 2026 ESTA Awards finalists?

Hot off the press is the list of finalists nominated for the ESTA Awards 2026.

The European Association for abnormal road transport and mobile cranes (ESTA) celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2026, making this year’s awards all the more special.

Companies from all over Europe are welcome to enter their spectacular and-or challenging lifting and transport industry-related project stories and other achievements from the preceding 12 months. Following acceptance and selection they are then put up for an award in one of ten categories.

Over recent weeks, the European Association’s expert judging panel, chaired by Gerard Bastiaansen, former CEO at Dutch lifting and transport specialist Wagenborg Nedlift, has been hard at work reviewing the record number of 73 entries. The shortlist was then drawn up. A maximum of four finalists is listed in each category.

From this shortlist, following further deliberation and assessment by the team of ESTA Awards judges, the winners will be selected. Details will be kept secret until being announced during the annual ESTA Awards of Excellence and gala dinner event. This year, it will be at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk, Netherlands, on the night of 16 April.
