Wiesbauer gets another 450 tonne Tadano

Crane rental specialist Wiesbauer in Germany has taken delivery of its second 450 tonne capacity all terrain crane from Tadano.

The latest AC 7.450-1 follows on from the first unit of this model to be delivered by the manufacturer, back in 2021. Florian Wiesbauer, managing director, commented, “The Tadano AC 7.450-1 is the best crane in its class.”

The new crane was handed over at the Tadano factory in Zweibrücken, Germany, by Stefan Oerter, Tadano sales manager. He gave the keys to Wiesbauer managing directors Sissy and Florian Wiesbauer, crane operator Jannik Weigle, and escort vehicle driver André Janitzek.

At the handover Michael Zieger, former Tadano sales manager, interrupted his retirement by also attending the event. He initiated the sale before retiring and handing over to Oerter for whom it was his first sale.

Wiesbauer said, “The AC 7.450-1 is definitely a significantly more powerful alternative to all 6-axle cranes currently available on the market,” The dimensions of this seven axle crane are a key factor. its undercarriage is 15.99 metres long, total length is 17.62 metres and the outrigger base is 8.49 metres.

Other highlights for Wiesbauer include the 80 metre boom, luffing jib rigging system and the SSL superlift system. Mounting the superlift arms at the front of the boom head allows them to be longer, giving more capacity.
