Ukraine-based Friendly Logistic has added a new Faymonville trailer to its fleet. This new equipment will be used transport components for wind farm work.

The company’s purchase is a 4+7 self steering FlexMax tower adapter trailer with hydraulic suspension. This trailer can transport all types of steel tower segments up to 100 tons (90.7 tonnes). Additionally, nacelles and hybrid steel tower sections can be loaded without extra adapters.
The 1.8 metre vertical adapter stroke allows for autonomous loading and offloading of the sections, and can facilitate passing over high obstacles along the route, such as roundabouts, crash barriers or road boundaries.
All these and other technical details were thoroughly explained to the Friendly Logistic team by Faymonville’s trainer Kris during an intensive, multi-day training in Ukraine.
The Luxembourg-based family run company said it places great importance on providing users with all the necessary information to ensure smooth operation in the field.
