Hoist FR series now includes electric version

Hoist Liftruck’s popular FR Series line of extendable counterweight rigger trucks now includes an electric version to complement the existing IC models.

While maintaining all of the functionality of its IC counterpart, the new FR-E features a 72/80V AC powered 2-speed hydrostatic drive with variable motor rpm control and an AC lift motor. The FR-E also includes Hoist’s new Smartscreen Technology operator interface, providing real time operational information as well as an onboard capacity calculator, real-time diagnostics, reference libraries and much more.

The FR-E is provided as a complete IC alternative solution that includes batteries (2), a 3-phase stand-alone charger for deep cycle charging, as well as an onboard single phase charger for opportunity charging, in addition to charging flexibility and product mobility.

With roots in the electric-powered high-capacity forklift industry dating back 120 years, Hoist’s FR-E represents the latest product release in Hoist’s next generation series of electric trucks. Other next generation AC powered products include models historically thought of as IC only, such as high-capacity pneumatic tire trucks (P-Series) and the recently introduced Hoist T-Series terminal tractor.
