Mega transport for Indian harbour project

Express Global Logistics (EXG), member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, managed the transport of Transports 30 Orthotropic Steel Decks (OSD) weighing 2800 tons (2,540 tonnes) each for the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Project.

“On January 12 2024, we stand on the brink of history as Express Global Logistics (EXG) proud to have played an integral role in the monumental Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Project – officially named the Atal Setu,” said a spokesperson for the project.

As the lead logistics partner, EXG played a pivotal role in the transportation of the 30 Orthotropic Steel Decks (OSD) that form the floor of the Atal Setu, India’s longest oversea bridge.
The bridge was opened by prime minister Shri Narendra Modi.
“This momentous occasion marks a date of great importance in the annals of our history, symbolizing progress, unity, and national pride,” added an EXG spokesperson.
“EXG extends heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated team and partners who have tirelessly worked to make this dream a reality. Being part of such a pivotal project is a testament to our commitment to nation-building and innovation.”
