Next-generation Kamag PrecisionMover targets logistics efficiency

TII Kamag has unveiled the next-generation PrecisionMover 101 swap body transporter, featuring a redesigned cab, improved safety and enhanced driver comfort.

TII Kamag has introduced the Kamag PrecisionMover 101 (PM 101), the latest version of its long-standing swap body transporter. The new model combines proven drive technology with a redesigned driver’s cab that emphasizes comfort, ergonomics and safety, the company said.

The biggest change in the PM 101 is its newly developed cab. Designed for improved ergonomics, the layout features easier entry, large windows for all-round visibility and a glare-free display. The operating elements have been repositioned for driver comfort, including a relocated parking brake lever, joystick controls and wider spacing between foot pedals. Other updates include redesigned door handles, stepless dampers and simplified access to the central electrical system, which is now located behind the passenger seat.

An extensive range of interior fittings ensures maximum driving comfort.

Safety enhancements include LED headlights for daylight-like illumination, optional working lights and beacons, and protective grating for the rear window. The narrower cab and repositioned mirrors allow drivers a clearer view of the swap body’s support legs during loading. An improved safety system for the fifth wheel coupling adds another layer of protection.

Like its predecessor, the PM 101 relies on hydrostatic drive and high manoeuvrability, making it suitable for confined spaces at logistics centres, parcel hubs, and industrial sites. The transporter is built for reliability in daily operations where efficiency and ease of use are critical.

“With the Kamag PrecisionMover 101, we have concentrated on further developments that create real added value in everyday operations,” said Godehard Eidenhammer, sales manager for yard logistics, TII KAMAG. “Our focus is clearly on efficiency, comfort and safety for the driver.”
