“Although the effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) is limited in our company, it continues to effect our society, especially our dealers, suppliers and customers,” said Büşra Örs, ELS corporate communications specialist.

While a full curfew has not yet been announced in the country, people over the age of 65 are under stay-at-home orders, while shopping malls, restaurants, museums and hotels are closeed and it is recommended that everyone stays at home.

The company has taken measures to slow down the speed of the virus and protect team members and the factory, and minimise the impact on commercial life. Online meetings are held with employees, customers and suppliers who continue to work at home. Visitors are not allowed in the facility, with all onsite meetings, events and training cancelled.

All team members also undergo medical examinations at the factory entrance, while social distance rules apply. “Our first priority is to pay attention to security measures. In addition, to continue our production activities and continue to provide spare parts to our dealers, distributors, service partners withinf 24 hours.”

Busra adds, “Although the uncertainty and variable economic conditions make things difficult, we try to fulfill all our commitments.”
