Roll Group opens new office to boost Gulf Coast operations

Roll Group has expanded its Americas footprint with a new project office and yard in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana, USA, reinforcing its commitment to the Gulf Coast region.

The facility includes a 2,160-square-foot  (200 square metre) office and three acres (1.2 hectares) of laydown area, with access to an additional five acres, offering immediate proximity to key industrial corridors and the Mississippi River.

The move supports growing demand for heavy transport and lifting services in energy, petrochemical, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

“We’ve always strived to serve the market, as 10 per cent of the petroleum industry lies between Lake Charles and New Orleans,” said Gary Summers, a Roll Group veteran with 45 years in the industry. “Now we’re not only serving the market, we’re local. We can be part of the community, part of the culture.”

The new office will provide project management, engineering and technical support, strengthening Roll Group’s integrated land-sea logistics model. With in-house expertise and a fleet of specialized transport and lifting equipment, the company aims to reduce project complexity and risk, particularly for modular cargo and large-scale industrial projects.

“This office opens up more opportunities and territory for Roll Group to grow and succeed,” said Michael Crawford, Louisiana commerical manager. “I was born and raised here in Louisiana, and I see a bright future here for Roll Group.”
